Chambord Castle

 
In the centre of the Loire Valley, between Tours and Amboise, the “Clos de la Brenne” is situated in Chançay, a peaceful village of approximately 1000 inhabitants.
  • Chançay counts several wine domains which produce Vouvray white wines whilst the beautiful village of Vouvray itself is only a few miles away from the cottage.
  • In addition to the regional gastronomy, our cottage will enable you to discover the Loire Valley.  Classified as part of the UNESCO world heritage, the area is known for the quality of its architecture and historical cities such as Blois, Chinon, Orleans, Saumur and Tours, but especially for its world famous castles and gardens, such as Chambord or Chenonceau.  

Access to the cottage:
  • By TGV arriving at Saint-Pierre-Des-Corps station (20 minutes from the cottage by car): just 1 hour from Paris, 1.5 hours from Nantes, 2.5 hours from Bordeaux and 3 hours from Lyon and Lille.  Taxis are available at the station

  • By TER arriving at Amboise station (15 minutes from the cottage by car): Taxis are available at the station

  • By car: take the A10 motorway and exit at Château-Renault (n°18) or Tours-Nord (n°19).  Both are just 15 minutes from Clos de la Brenne cottage

  • Tours Airport: (25 minutes by car): scheduled flights available from Marseille, Ajaccio & Figari (Corse), London, Manchester, Southampton, Dublin and Porto.  Taxis are available at the airport
